Injury Treatment

When you have an injured employee, you require more than excellent medical care. You also need clear communication between the company, the worker, and the physician to ensure the best possible outcomes. We understand the impact injuries have on both the employee and the employer.

The employee not only has an injury, but he or she could potentially be facing a possible financial catastrophe for his or her family. A company could potentially lose a valuable employee, while watching their insurance rates rise. SafeWorks Illinois has years of experience taking care of workers, and working closely with companies.

We thoroughly evaluate every employee, including a careful history, to reasonably ascertain whether the injury is work related or not. We will also do in-depth examinations, diagnostic testing and other services if necessary.

Then we specialize in developing a treatment plan that maximizes the employee’s recovery, while minimizing any issues for the employer. We communicate all steps and information clearly to both the employee and the company.

Most importantly, we listen and answer questions from all sides. This level of communication can help reduce anxiety and turn the treatment into a win for both worker and employer.

Our “Fast-Track” gate-keeper service provides value with our prompt return-back-to-work and cost-effective care.  Our strength is in the continuity of care that includes a wide network of referrals to other specialists, such as orthopedics, spine and pain management, should the need arise. We also have the expertise to navigate the workers’ compensation system efficiently for all involved.

Diagnoses & treatments offered:

  • Cut & laceration repair
  • Eye and skin foreign body removal
  • Diagnosis of sprains, strains, and fractures
  • Burns and abrasions
  • Blood Borne Pathogen Antibody Testing

Any severe, life-threatening injury or illness, including uncontrolled bleeding or loss of consciousness, should immediately report to the nearest hospital emergency room.
